A Question I’ve Been Asking Myself Lately And 3 Things I Am Doing For Introspection
To revamp my creative process
I spend a lot of my time thinking about the autonomous mode our life takes.
But lately, one question I've been asking myself is this:
At what point do our routines turn into auto-pilot modes for our creative minds?
For a few reasons:
Reason #1: We are overfed with the notion of being productive and closing tasks at hand.
Reason #2: A template-based process to achieve quick results.
Reason #3: The pressure of being a creator and churning out content for the algorithm.
To wrestle with this question, a few things I am doing are -
Being mindful of my creative process to keep switching and changing it before stagnancy creeps in.
The physical exercise of being on the move while the mental exercise of reading and learning.
Realizing and reacting to the pressures of exhaustion.
While the thought process allows a very introspective look into the creative process, I think it'll be a while before I come to any sort of solid conclusion.
To conclude, do you think there is a danger of our routines turning into auto-pilot mode for our creative minds? Is it a good thing or a warning sign?
